Yesterday it was grey and dark. Some snow stooped you from enjoying the walk with the dog. I felt sick and went to the doctor who recommended me to make a Corona test and so I did. The whole day I had a headache and my running nose bothered me. I was tired and just wanted to do nothing! And so I got my test result this morning – negativ- ! All of a sudden no headache, just a normal little cold! A fantastic day! I decided to bake cookies to celebrate the sun and health! Delicious! It was the first time and I got the recipe from a Swedish magazine. Easy to do, filled with orange peel and milk chocolate.
And this made the day even brighter. This little 10 week old Labrador has got a new home. My daughter, sun in law and grandchildren picked him up today to live with them. He is lucky to get such a fantastic family and they are so happy to have him.
There is so much more to be happy about! My husband has got his firs vaccine shot! Hurra! It wasn’t easy to get an appointment but we managed. It makes us feel a bit more safe! And the second shot will be in the beginning of march. That is for sure! Germany is waking up a bit. From next month you are allowed to go to the hairdresser again. According to the news, people are eating healthier than before, since they are cooking at home. They have time to care about what they put into their stomach! Since I do not do that much sport anymore, I do take care not to gain to many kilos. All that snow had some good with it. Daily I had to sloven snow and that was hard to begin with but better than any fitness studio! The whole body was trained. The first two days I had such aching arms but than I got used to it. Well the snow is gone and it smells like spring. The birds are singing and on Sunday we can get up to 20° plus.

Es ist vollzogen……Ich bin jetzt ein Doppelburger! Alle Jahren hier in Deutschland habe ich mich verweigert mich einzubürgern. Nun habe ich mein halbes Leben hier verbracht und werde wohl nicht mehr nach Schweden zurück außer zu Besuch. Hier habe ich Kinder, Enkelkinder und mein Mann und ohne sie möchte ich nicht leben. Auch viele Freunde. Gerade jetzt in der Corona Zeit habe ich gemerkt wie weit weg Schweden ist wenn ich nicht einfach hinfahren darf! Da hilft kein neues Auto oder Zug- und Flugverbindungen! Ich werde nie von Mentalität eine Deutsche sein! Dafür bin ich viel zu geprägt von mein Leben in Schweden. Ich möchte so gerne meine Schwester und der Rest der Familie in Schweden wiedersehen – nicht nur digital aber das wird wohl nicht so schnell sein. Letztes Jahr um dieser zeit war meine Schwester gekommen um mit mir mein Geburtstag zu feiern. Wir sind nach Hannover gefahren zum shoppen und wir saßen draußen im Restaurant an der Leine und genossen die Sonne und einen leckeren Lunch! Ich war so glücklich sie hier fast zwei Wochen zu haben. Mein Bonussohn und Schwiegersohn kamen aus Chemnitz einige Tagen vor die Feier und zusammen haben wir fröhlichen Abenden verbracht. Alles heute nicht möglich. Ich hatte eine große Feier im Restaurant mit der ganzen Familie und alle Freunde. Zusammen fast 70 Erwachsenen und Kindern.
Na ja! Ich habe Glück gehabt. Kurz danach den ersten Lock down!
